How has your journey at Inspirisys been so far?

I’ve been with Inspirisys for 13 years, and looking back, these have truly been some of the most rewarding years of my life. What stands out to me the most about this organization is its inclusive and supportive culture. I’m incredibly grateful for the team I work with—they’ve always had my back. Although I face occasional challenges with communication, my teammates have always shown understanding and patience. It’s a great feeling to be part of an environment where my efforts are recognized, and my achievements are appreciated. Overall, my journey so far has been one of growth, support, and constant learning, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

What are the main responsibilities of your role?

As a Senior Test Engineer, my role revolves around ensuring that the software we deliver is of the highest quality and functions flawlessly. I am primarily involved in software testing and validation, verifying that each build meets design specifications and performs as intended. A significant part of my responsibilities also involves quality assurance—executing test cases, debugging, and identifying issues that require resolution. Additionally, I assess software performance across various networks and operating systems to ensure seamless functionality in diverse environments. When issues arise, I actively troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve them to maintain project momentum. It’s a dynamic role that requires a keen eye for detail and a strong problem-solving mindset—and I genuinely enjoy every aspect of it.

How has Inspirisys contributed to your career growth?

Looking back, I can honestly say that Inspirisys has been a key factor in my career development. From day one, the organization has provided exposure to a wide range of diverse and challenging projects. These opportunities have allowed me to continuously refine and expand my testing methodologies, helping me stay ahead in a fast-evolving field. Through hands-on experience, I’ve also developed my leadership skills—learning how to manage teams effectively, guide them through complex tasks, and keep projects on track. One skill that has truly enhanced my work is the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues. Over time, I’ve become more adept at quickly identifying defects and validating builds against design specifications. This process has not only sharpened my testing approach but also improved my collaboration with developers to ensure seamless product quality. The experience has allowed me to continuously improve my strategies and adapt to challenges with greater confidence and efficiency.

Personal Reflections

What inspired you to pursue a career in Software Testing?

I have always been passionate about problem-solving and ensuring the quality of products. Software testing allows me to do exactly that—break down complex systems, analyze them critically, and ensure they meet high standards. The thrill of identifying potential issues before they reach the end user is incredibly satisfying. What excites me most about this role is that it combines both my technical skills and my desire to create reliable, high-quality software. Every test and every fix I contribute feels like an important step in delivering a product that people can trust.

What motivates you to keep learning and growing in your field?

The constant changes in technology really drive me to stay on top of my game. I enjoy learning about new testing tools and techniques because they help me stay sharp and improve the quality of my work I do. Keeping up with the latest trends is exciting—it feels like there's always something new to discover.

Is there a particular moment or experience at Inspirisys that stands out?

One moment that truly stands out to me was when I was recognized for my work in quality assurance. It wasn’t just the acknowledgement itself, but the fact that my team and leaders genuinely appreciated the effort I put in. What made it even more meaningful was the way the company and my colleagues made me feel included and supported, especially considering that communication can sometimes be a challenge for me. Can you share a life lesson you've learned along the way?

I’ve learned that perseverance and passion are key to overcoming any challenge. Whether it’s been in my journey as a magician or throughout my professional career, obstacles have always presented themselves. But with patience, dedication, and the support of those around me, I’ve always managed to keep moving forward. Each setback has taught me something valuable, deepening my belief in myself and constantly motivating me to strive for improvement.

Life Outside the Lines

What’s one talent you possess that others might find fascinating?

Magic is a talent I’ve been perfecting since I was four years old, and it’s something I absolutely love sharing with others. My speciality is card manipulation and stage magic, where I use sleight-of-hand tricks to create stunning illusions that leave people in awe. Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to win 14 national awards and two state awards in magic competitions. But the most exciting part is that my journey has opened up amazing opportunities, like qualifying for the World Deaf Magicians Festival in the USA in 2026. My dream is to compete at the FISM World Championship of Magic, which is the ultimate achievement for any magician.

What activities or hobbies do you enjoy most outside of work?

Besides magic, I have a deep passion for drawing, especially pencil sketches and creating anime characters. It’s a creative outlet that allows me to relax and escape into a world of imagination. I love the process of bringing characters to life, focusing on details that make each one unique. Drawing gives me the space to unwind while also letting me express myself through art. It’s a hobby that helps me stay grounded and find balance in my day-to-day life.

What destination is at the top of your travel list, and what inspires you to visit

I enjoy discovering new cultures and exploring different places. Japan is at the top of my list because of its fascinating combination of deep-rooted traditions and modern advancements. From its historic temples to the cutting-edge technology, there's so much to experience. South Korea comes in second, as I’m drawn to its vibrant culture, dynamic lifestyle, and its influence in the tech world. Both countries offer a unique blend of history, innovation, and excitement that I look forward to experiencing.

What’s one thing on your bucket list you’re determined to achieve?

Winning the FISM World Championship of Magic in the Manipulation category is at the top of my bucket list. It's a dream I've been working towards for years, and every day I’m putting in the effort to make it a reality. Competing at such a prestigious level would be the ultimate achievement, and I’m fully committed to doing everything I can to make that dream a reality. Every practice, every performance is a step closer to that moment, and I’m all in.

How do you balance work and personal life effectively?

I plan ahead, set clear boundaries between work and personal time, and follow a structured routine. I make it a point to spend quality time with family and still pursue my personal interests. Having a balance keeps me focused, happy, and motivated.
