Life at Inspirisys

What’s the most surprising thing you've learned about working at Inspirisys in the first few months?
I was truly impressed by the transparency at Inspirisys and the long tenure of many employees. It’s a clear reflection of the company’s positive work environment and the growth opportunities it offers. The supportive culture made it easy to settle in and showed me that patience and consistency are key to long-term career success. It’s been encouraging to see how investing in your work and building strong relationships can lead to meaningful progress.
What are the main responsibilities of your role?
As the Talent Acquisition Head, my main focus is ensuring we hire the right talent within the given turnaround time. I’m constantly evaluating and refining our recruitment strategies to attract the best candidates. A big part of my role involves collaborating with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their needs and identify any gaps in our hiring processes. By staying connected with them, I make sure we’re always improving our approach to recruitment and meeting the ever-changing needs of the organization.

What’s one skill you’ve gained here that has helped you the most?
In the past few months, I've developed strong communication and relationship-building skills, especially through my interactions with senior management. By working closely with them and gaining a deeper understanding of the business, I’ve learned how to tailor recruitment strategies to align better with company goals. This has significantly enhanced my decision-making ability, allowing me to make more informed choices in the recruitment process and collaborate more effectively across teams.
Can you share a bit about your team?
I’m fortunate to have a fantastic team of managers and recruiters who are not only skilled but also take full ownership of their work. What I value most is their self-driven nature—they require no micromanagement and consistently deliver results. Their accountability and commitment make collaboration smooth and rewarding. It’s truly a pleasure to be part of such a dedicated team.
Personal Reflections
What inspired you to pursue a career in HR?
I’ve always been someone who enjoys meaningful interactions and connecting with people. HR felt like a natural fit, especially with my interest in relationship-building and communication. Talent Acquisition, in particular, gives me the opportunity to interact with diverse professionals, exchange ideas, and stay aligned with evolving workforce trends. I also actively engage in HR events and forums to expand my perspective and network. This field blends people-centric work with strategic thinking, making it a perfect match for my strengths and interests.
What motivates you to keep learning and growing in your field?
The ever-changing nature of Talent Acquisition constantly pushes me to improve. Whether it’s finding quality talent within tight timelines or sourcing for niche roles, every challenge demands creative problem-solving. The need to stay competitive through employer branding and innovative hiring strategies keeps me curious and driven. Each day brings a new learning opportunity—from refining negotiation techniques to exploring emerging hiring platforms—which motivates me to keep evolving professionally.
What’s a personal accomplishment you’re most proud of, and how did you achieve it?
Dance has always been a huge part of my life, and one of my proudest moments was being selected—out of 85 dancers—to perform in a three-month show tour in the US. This opportunity came after years of dedication and countless hours of rigorous practice. I’ve also had the privilege of performing across India alongside renowned artists like Hema Malini, Meenakshi Seshadri, and Shobana. Along the way, I’ve been honoured with titles like “Best Dancer” and “Natya Kala Ratna” for my performances in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi.
How do you define success, both in your career and personal life?
To me, success is about growth and balance. Professionally, it means evolving with every challenge—learning, adapting, and contributing meaningfully. Personally, it’s about staying connected to what I love, especially dance, while managing my responsibilities with clarity and purpose. True success lies in pursuing both career and passion without compromise, and having a strong support system that makes the journey fulfilling.
Life Outside the Lines

What’s one talent you possess that others might find fascinating
I specialize in performing Tarangam, a traditional Kuchipudi dance where I balance a pot filled with water on my head while dancing on a brass plate. It’s a skill that requires precision and control, and I’ve been fortunate to receive appreciation for my expertise in it. My fellow dancers have often asked me to teach them that technique. Additionally, I founded the "Ardhanaari School of Dance" in Sweden, where I taught this unique dance form. Even after relocating, my students continue to learn through online classes, keeping the tradition alive across continents.
What activities or hobbies do you enjoy most outside of work?
I’m an avid traveller and love exploring new places whenever I get the chance. Each trip is an opportunity to experience different cultures, try new foods, and discover hidden gems. Traveling allows me to unwind, expand my horizons, and gain new perspectives. Watching movies is another interest that I enjoy, whether it’s a classic film or something new. I find it a great way to relax and get immersed in different stories and emotions. I’m always looking forward to my next adventure, both on-screen and in the real world.
How many destinations have you visited so far?
The list of places I’ve visited is quite long, both domestically and internationally! I’ve had the opportunity to explore some incredible destinations. In Paris, the Eiffel Tower stands out, especially when the nightly light show happens, with the whole city turning off its electricity for five minutes—it's truly magical. I’ve also visited Sweden and Norway, where I was impressed by how seamless public transportation is, making it easy to travel between cities. Singapore, of course, is a standout for its cleanliness. I admire how the government ensures the city remains pristine, and how the people take pride in keeping it that way. Traveling has not only given me unforgettable experiences but also broadened my perspective on how different cultures embrace their uniqueness.
What’s one thing on your bucket list you’re determined to achieve?
One of my biggest dreams is to open a dance academy where people can explore every style of dance under one roof. I want to create a space where anyone, from beginners to experienced dancers—can come together, learn, and grow. For me, it’s about creating a space where dance is truly celebrated as an art form, rather than simply focusing on the steps. The thought of helping people discover their passion for movement and expression really excites me, and I’m determined to make that dream a reality one day.
How do you balance work and personal life effectively?
Balancing work and personal life is something I manage with the support of my family. They’re my rock, always there to lend a hand or just provide the encouragement I need when things get hectic. Whether it’s making time for dance, enjoying family moments, or diving into work, they help me keep things in perspective. It’s all about being present where it counts, and with their support, I’ve learned to strike that balance and make the most out of both worlds.
