Life at Inspirisys

Organization

What’s one thing about working at Inspirisys that makes your day feel purposeful?

The chance to work on banking projects that improve both client systems and customer experience is what gives me purpose. Each project is a new opportunity to solve challenges and create tangible value. Seeing our solutions come to life and witnessing their impact on clients' day-to-day operations is truly motivating. It makes my work feel meaningful and keeps me inspired to push for excellence every day.

How would you describe your team, and what do you think is their best quality?

I’d describe my team as supportive, collaborative, and reliable. Everyone is always ready to step in and lend a hand, no matter how big or small the task. It’s the kind of team where you can always count on each other. What stands out is the openness with which we share knowledge—there’s a genuine willingness to help one another learn and grow. This not only makes us more effective but also builds a strong sense of amity. It’s easy to stay motivated when you know you’re surrounded by a group of people who are just as committed to the work as you are.

What’s a moment at work when you felt truly supported?

During an R&D project, I encountered a complex issue and felt stuck. Instead of just being given the solution, I was guided through the problem with patience and valuable insights. This support helped me understand the process better and approach the challenge with more confidence. It wasn’t just about solving the problem, it was about gaining the clarity and independence to handle future challenges on my own.

How has your role evolved since you joined—and what excites you most about it?

When I first joined, I focused mainly on development tasks, working behind the scenes to build and support systems. Over time, my role has grown, and now I lead modules independently and handle projects from start to finish. What excites me the most is the chance to work directly with clients, witnessing our solutions in action and the impact they create. The trust and responsibility I’ve gained fuel my drive to take on new challenges and continuously improve. It’s the opportunity to contribute at a higher level, and the ability to make a real difference that keeps me engaged and passionate about what I do.

Personal Reflections

What drew your interest towards software engineering?

The blend of creativity and logic has always intrigued me, and software engineering offered the perfect canvas to explore both. From dissecting complex problems into workable solutions to building systems that improve lives, the field felt like a natural fit. I’ve always been fascinated by how technology can reshape industries and drive progress. Over time, I’ve come to value this field not just for its technical depth, but for its capacity to create meaningful, lasting change. That combination of problem solving, innovation, and real world impact is what keeps me inspired.

Is there a personal win that stands out for you? What made it meaningful?

One moment I look back on with pride was successfully optimizing a process that handled over one lakh records. This achievement was especially meaningful because it allowed me to apply both my technical knowledge and analytical thinking to a real-world challenge. The process became more efficient, and I was able to streamline a crucial part of the workflow, creating a tangible impact on the team. The recognition I received was gratifying, as it underscored how effective problem-solving and system improvements can deliver real value.

How do you define success, both in your career and personal life?

For me, success means working with purpose and value, while also prioritizing my personal growth, health, and relationships. It's about creating a balance where professional achievements and personal well-being coexist. In my journey, I’ve been fortunate enough to grow both as an artist and a developer, showing that success isn’t confined to one aspect of life. The ability to excel in multiple areas makes me feel accomplished. I believe success lies in pursuing passions while maintaining an equilibrium in all parts of life.

What’s something you’ve learned about yourself through your work?

When I first started my journey, I wasn’t fully aware of how I would respond in fast paced, high stakes situations. Over time, I’ve realized that I actually thrive when challenges intensify. It’s in those moments that I can adapt quickly, keep my focus sharp, and maintain high quality in my work. I’ve found that demanding situations bring out the best in me, encouraging me to think on my feet and stay committed to delivering results, no matter how complex the task may be.

Life Outside the Lines

Do you have a unique skill or talent you'd like to share with us?

Yes, I’ve been trained in Bharatanatyam, and it’s something that has shaped me in more ways than one. Beyond the art itself, dance has instilled in me a sense of discipline, boosted my self-confidence, and taught me how to maintain focus, especially in high-stakes moments. It’s also given me a strong stage presence, which translates to feeling comfortable in various aspects of life, including work. Outside of dance, I also enjoy drawing and singing. Both are creative outlets that allow me to express myself in different ways and help me stay calm and focused. They offer me a break from the hustle of work, giving me a chance to reconnect with myself and stay grounded.

What new skill or hobby would you master instantly, and why?

I’ve always been fascinated by pencil art, especially the intricate details that artists can capture with just a pencil. The way light and shadow play together to create depth and texture is something I admire, and I’d love to perfect this skill. It’s an art form that feels timeless and expressive. Along with that, learning new languages is something that truly excites me. It’s not just about communicating with others; it’s about unlocking the essence of different cultures. Being able to speak another language would open up a world of experiences, allowing me to connect on a deeper level with people from diverse backgrounds.

How has travel shaped your perspective, and which destinations have left a lasting impression on you?

Travel has taught me to be more open-minded, adaptable, and appreciative of different cultures and lifestyles. Each destination brings its own charm—whether it's the serene greenery of Mankulam in Kerala (which I visited last year), the vibrant beaches of Goa, the rich history of Sri Lanka, the dazzling cityscape of Dubai, or the cultural diversity of Bangalore and Karnataka.

Among all, Mankulam and Coorg left a lasting impression on me for their peaceful landscapes and closeness to nature. I truly enjoyed the calm, scenic drives, local food, and the sense of escape these places offered. I'm also looking forward to my upcoming trips to Alleppey in Kerala and the beautiful islands of Andaman. I'm excited to experience their backwaters and pristine beaches!

If you had an entire weekend to yourself—no obligations—how would you spend it?

I’d spend the weekend doing things that help me recharge creatively and mentally. I’d start by dancing, just letting go and enjoying the movement. After that, I’d pick up my sketchbook and get lost in drawing—there’s something about it that helps clear my mind. I’d also squeeze in some stitching, as it’s a calming way to unwind. Combining all these activities would be the perfect way for me to refresh and feel ready to take on the week ahead.
