What stands out about Inspirisys?

A Happy Workplace

Life at Inspirisys

Organization

What’s a cultural aspect of Inspirisys that you personally connect with the most?

One thing I truly connect with is the transparency here. The CEO’s Quarterly Address is something I genuinely look forward to. It’s not something you see everywhere. Each business unit’s performance, key achievements, and milestones are shared openly. It gives us a clear picture of how the organization is doing as a whole, and helps us feel included in the larger journey.

Alongside that, I really value the freedom to explore your strengths and experiment with your skills. When your work is seen, appreciated, and trusted—that’s everything an employee could ask for.

What’s one quality that makes your team function well even under pressure?

For us, it’s definitely coordination. Without that, a team just doesn’t feel like a team. Being in marketing, we’re often juggling a bunch of ad-hoc tasks—whether it’s for internal teams, customer needs, or last-minute event support. In the middle of all that, we make sure each person stays accountable for their part, while keeping everyone else in the loop. It takes effort, no doubt. But we do it wholeheartedly, because at the end of the day, we all want the same thing—to deliver our best, and to deliver it on time.

How do you feel your individuality or creative freedom is respected in the organization?

A lot, actually. I’ve always felt that my creative input is heard and welcomed. Whether it’s pitching a fresh concept for leadership team or employees, exploring new formats, or refining visual styles, there’s space to experiment as long as it aligns with the brand’s direction. The expectations are clear, but there’s flexibility to bring in new energy and ideas. That space to think beyond the usual makes the work feel more exciting. It pushes me to give more, not just to meet expectations, but to genuinely create with confidence.

Personal Reflections

What does being part of the marketing team at Inspirisys mean to you personally?

To me, being part of the marketing team at Inspirisys means being a storyteller with purpose. It’s not just about making things look good but also about capturing the energy, the culture, and the impact of what we do here. I get to turn everyday moments into visuals that speak to our identity as a company. There’s a certain pride in knowing that my work helps shape how people see Inspirisys—both inside and outside the organization. Personally, it feels like I’m creating meaningful content and contributing to a bigger narrative.

What’s one project or campaign here that made you feel genuinely proud to be part of the team?

Honestly, every click and every frame matters to me—because through my lens, the brand gets to speak louder and more meaningfully. But if I had to pick one, it would be the Annual Business Conference. It’s always a proud moment to be the in-house multimedia person for an event of that scale. Capturing the best smiles of our leadership, from CAC Japan to our Executive Management, feels special every single time.

Each moment from the event has its own story. And turning those stories into reels and highlight videos lets us carry that energy forward. It’s also a way for employees who couldn’t attend to still feel a part of the celebration and pride. And when the appreciation for my work comes in afterward, it’s the cherry on top. Because visuals don’t just capture moments—they help people relive them, and feel what they felt, all over again.

Among the many hats you wear—photography, videography, editing, design—which one feels most ‘you’ and why?

Photography and videography, without a doubt. I’ve never been the kind to sit in one place for too long. I love moving around, observing things, and capturing moments as they unfold. There’s a certain thrill in being behind the lens, whether it’s clicking the perfect shot or framing a scene just right.

Editing, for me, is the rewarding after-effect. That joy when you see the final cut coming together is what makes the whole process feel complete. Design holds its place too, but it usually comes into play based on priority. At the end of the day, the camera feels like an extension of me—it’s where I feel most alive and in my element.

Tell us about a challenge at work that ended up being a learning moment.

The technical side of the job is manageable—it’s the coordination with people that often turns out to be the real challenge. Getting someone comfortable in front of the camera takes patience. I often have to explain what I’m aiming to capture, and how they can help bring that shot to life. It’s not always easy, especially when they’re camera-shy or in a rush.

Coordinating group shoots is another level altogether. Bringing a large crowd together for a specific purpose, without it turning into chaos, takes planning. I’ve learned the importance of timing, getting approvals, giving prior intimation, and just staying calm when things don’t go as expected. It’s taught me that half the job is the camera—and the other half is people skills.

Life Outside the Lines

When did your passion for photography begin?

Photography runs in the family—I grew up watching my brother and uncle work behind the lens. But it wasn’t until my intermediate years that I felt that spark myself. My first camera, a Rebel T6-1300D, marked the real beginning.

In college, it started off as a hobby—capturing moments at family functions and college events. Since then, I’ve pursued this passion more seriously, which led me to a diploma in Advertising and Commercial Photography, followed by advanced training at KAPA Academy.

One of my best photos from earlier days was of an eagle in Rameshwaram. Over time, I’ve come to enjoy capturing anything that speaks to me—people, birds, moments, even still objects. It’s less about what I shoot and more about the connection I feel with the frame. That’s what makes each shot meaningful.

Do you have a secret talent that your colleagues should know?

Well, I guess it won’t be a secret anymore! I’m actually pretty good at hairstyling and costume styling—for both men and women. I genuinely enjoy grooming, not just for myself but also for friends and family. Picking the right outfit, getting the hair just right is something I take a lot of joy in.

Apart from styling, music has always been close to my heart. I was a drummer back in college, and that rhythm still lives in me somewhere. Oh, and bikes—I’ve got a serious soft spot for them. I’m a bit of a speed junkie and love everything about racing. So, if you ever need a quick style fix or someone to talk bikes and beats with, you know where to find me!

What does “balance” mean to you personally?

For me, balance is being able to handle the pressure without losing the passion. It's about staying creative at work, yet still having the energy to enjoy that creativity in my personal time. Some days are packed with edits and tight timelines, and it does get exhausting. But I’ve learned to create small pockets of time for myself.

Even a short walk with my camera or editing something just for fun helps me feel refreshed. That’s what balance means to me—keeping both sides of my creative self alive without letting one overshadow the other.

If you could swap roles with anyone for a day, who would it be and why

I’d love to swap roles with Tamil actor Ajith Kumar. Not just because he’s a superstar, but because he’s so much more than that. He’s an F1 racer, a philanthropist, and someone who lives life on his own terms. I really connect with his love for bikes and racing—it’s something I’ve been passionate about too.

What inspires me most is how grounded he remains despite the fame. He uses his position to do good quietly, without needing the spotlight. Swapping roles with him, even just for a day, would be a chance to experience that blend of speed, impact, and humility—all in one.
