Senior Solaris Administrator

Role Summary:

As the Senior Solaris Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, maintaining, and optimizing Solaris-based systems within our organization. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our Solaris infrastructure, providing expert-level support and troubleshooting. Your role will involve collaborating with various IT teams to integrate Solaris systems with other platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• 4-6 years of hands-on experience on Oracle Sun servers in a Datacenter environment.
• Oracle Certified Solaris Administrator (OCA or OCP) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 implementation cycles as an individual contributor.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude towards the corporate environment.
• Willingness to work beyond regular hours to accomplish assigned tasks.

Qualification:

• 4+ years of experience with Oracle Sun servers in a data center environment.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently.
