Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Product Presales Manager in IT Infrastructure Managed Services, responsible for driving technical solutioning and supporting the sales function by designing, positioning, and presenting end-to-end infrastructure solutions aligned with customer business needs. With a strong background in system integration, the role bridges the gap between client requirements and delivery capabilities across domains such as data center, networking and security.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, present, and demonstrate enterprise architecture for assigned IT infrastructure domains, and provide technical consulting to medium and large enterprises, Government, and PSU organizations.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide consultation and architectural solution design.
  • Assist the account and sales teams in preparing solution documents, proposals, BOMs, scope of work, and responses to RFQ/RFPs.
  • Act as the technical lead for major IT infrastructure opportunities.
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEMs such as Oracle, HPE, NetApp, IBM, RHEL, OpenText, Hitachi, Dell, and others.
  • Manage and support presales teams across PAN India.
  • Be open to extensive travel as required.
  • Provide technical solutions across enterprise IT infrastructure involving multiple OEMs and technologies such as HCI, private cloud, data replication, and backup/recovery.
  • Work closely with the service delivery team to ensure clarity in scope of work and service cost analysis.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in technical selling and designing infrastructure, networking, and security solutions.
  • Work closely with sales teams to achieve business and revenue targets.
  • Possess techno-commercial expertise in servers, storage, HCI, private cloud, and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Demonstrate strong product knowledge of Cisco, Oracle, HPE, Dell, IBM, Nutanix, RHEL, OpenText, NetApp, Hitachi, and related technologies.
  • Handle existing customers and identify upselling opportunities by demonstrating business value.
  • Create Bills of Material (BOM), scope of work documents, high-level design documents, and technical proposals.
  • Technology certifications on Oracle, IBM, Hitachi, or related technologies will be an added advantage.
  • Exhibit excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills with a proactive and team-oriented approach.

Qualification:

  • 12+ years of direct presales experience in primary sectors with a proven track record in business development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure technologies and solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to C-level executives and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess sales performance, forecast revenue, and identify business growth opportunities.
