Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day infrastructure operations across multiple sites. The role involves managing field engineers, ensuring SLA compliance, maintaining uptime, and driving operational efficiency in infrastructure services.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise field operations teams (L1/L2/L3 engineers) across multiple locations.
- Ensure high availability and performance of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and data centers.
- Monitor and meet SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams for issue resolution and service delivery.
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL processes and organizational policies.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Manage resource allocation, shift planning, including 24/7 operations, and team productivity.
- Prepare and present operational reports, dashboards, and reviews to stakeholders.
Qualification:
- Any degree.
- 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Experience in managing large field teams and multi-location operations.
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
