Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Regional Sales Manager – IT Infrastructure Product to support the sales team in identifying and securing new business opportunities while acting as a single point of contact for customer-specific matters. The role also involves leading troubleshooting efforts, managing escalations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery. Should possess strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and organizational standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the IT landscape and product sales across servers, storage, networking & security, HCI, backup, virtualization, and data center solutions.
- Demonstrate a fair understanding of deal P&L.
- Understand service delivery methodologies and frameworks.
- Demonstrate a fair understanding of tools and service automation technologies.
- Possess knowledge of strategic, conceptual, and consultative selling.
- Adopt a proactive approach to customer engagement while maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
- Engage with business and IT functions within customer organizations.
- Respond to large services RFPs.
- Effectively use CRM software and MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understand the opportunity management lifecycle.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exhibit strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships and relationship-building capabilities.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Develop proposals independently.
- Effectively use MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Manage workload efficiently and set priorities effectively.
- Maintain strong relationships with at least 5 to 6 OEMs and possess an established customer base.
Qualification:
- 17+ years of experience in sales of IT Infrastructure Products.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any other graduate degree preferred.
- Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration preferred.
