Role Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Manager - IT Infrastructure Product to support our sales team in identifying and securing new business opportunities, and operate as a single point of contact for any matters specific to your customers. You will also lead troubleshooting efforts, manage escalations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery. Your role requires strong leadership, technical expertise and the ability to drive continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and organizational standards.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand the IT landscape and product sales across servers, storage, networking & security, HCI, backup, virtualization, and data center solutions.
- Evaluate the P&L impact of every deal.
- Apply industry-standard service delivery methodologies and frameworks to ensure consistent and high-quality customer support.
- Utilize tools and service automation technologies.
- Possess knowledge of strategic, conceptual, and consultative selling.
- Maintain a flexible and proactive approach to customer engagement.
- Engage with business and IT functions within customer organizations.
- Respond to large services RFPs.
- Effectively use CRM software and MS Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understand the opportunity management lifecycle.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exhibit strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Build effective interpersonal relationships and foster strong customer connections.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Develop proposals independently.
- Demonstrate strong command over MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Manage workload effectively and set priorities efficiently.
- Maintain strong relationships with at least 5 to 6 OEMs and possess an established customer base.
Qualification:
- 12+ years of experience in sales of IT Infrastructure Products.
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or other Graduate degree preferred.
- Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration preferred.
