Experience: 4 to 6 Years

Certification: REDHAT Certification* - Mandatory

Requirements / Responsibilities:

• Installation of Operating System in x86 servers ( RHEL), upgrades including version upgrades and regular patches
• Windows and RHEL OS Clusters
• Installation, creation and configuration of MSSQL Database
• Management of x86 Servers including backup, and restoration
• Fine-tuning for optimum performance
• Proactive Disk Space and CPU usage Management
• Reloading OS on servers
• Creating new file systems and File system management
• Creation of shell scripts or batch programs to automate procedures as and when advised by the bank team including cron-jobs management
• MS SQL, Database backup, replication to DR Site and database migration
• Implementation and remediation of Audit / VAPT recommendations
• Support during DR Drill, Database maintenance activity including activities happening during night hours
• Log call with OEM / system integrator support helpdesk (e.g. Bank has EA with Microsoft) and resolve the issues as and when required
• Support during DR drill
