As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, Inspirisys inaugurated a Technology Aided Learning Lab (TALL) at Government Higher Secondary School, Thiruvalangadu, opening new avenues for 220 students from Classes 6 to 9. For many of them, the inauguration also marked their first opportunity to experience learning through a computer.
The TALL lab is part of a Mathematics-focused digital learning initiative developed by Altius Foundation and implemented in partnership with Bhoomika Trust. Designed to complement classroom learning, the program uses technology to create a more interactive and accessible learning environment, while allowing students to engage with lessons at their own pace.
For students from first-generation learning backgrounds, access to such an environment can help build familiarity with technology while encouraging greater confidence in approaching new concepts. The initiative aims to give students a supportive space to explore, learn and develop skills that can contribute to their broader educational journeys.
The inauguration also formalised the beginning of a partnership between Bhoomika Trust, Altius Foundation and Inspirisys Solutions Limited, to support technology-enabled learning in government schools. Thiruvalangadu is the first of five schools to receive support from Inspirisys under this initiative, extending the reach of digital learning to more students.
The event brought togther Inspirisys leadership team, who interacted with students and teachers and experienced their excitement about the new facility. These interactions added a personal dimension to the initiative, reinforcing the importance of creating learning environments where students have the opportunity to explore technology alongside their regular education.
